
Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist. Upon moving to Kalamazoo, he opened Kalamazoo Gastroenterology Hepatology in 1982. He completed his Post-Graduate Training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Cook County Hospital, Chicago, Illinois, in 1981. While raising his family of 2 children, he has maintained numerous affiliations such as American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Gastroenterological Association, American Federation of Clinical Research, and Michigan State Medical Society. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University and has participated as an investigator in many gastrointestinal trials since 1982. He is affiliated with Borgess Medical Center and Bronson Methodist Hospital. All of Dr. Dewan’s patients recognize him as a caring, compassionate physician, dedicated to patient care.
